Our dental services include, but not limited to:
Cleanings & Preventative Maintenance
Cleanings and bi-annual exams are important for your overall oral health. During these exams we can identify potential issues before they become worse and more costly. Meanwhile, teeth cleanings allow us to remove plaque, tartar, and stains that have accumulated on your teeth.
Fillings
Fillings help prevent future decay by saving the natural tooth. Bacteria produced from the food we ingest can build up and erode the enamel, and essentially starts eating away at the tooth. After the cavity is removed, a filling is added to improve stability and strength in the tooth.
Bridges
If patients have lost teeth due to injury, decay, or gum disease, a dental bridge is recommended to attach the remaining natural teeth together. A bridge helps prevent shifting, which is when your teeth move out of alignment, causing gaps. Bridges can be permanent or removeable.
Root Canals
A root canal procedure (endodontic treatment) is recommended when the pulp of your tooth is inflamed or infected and requires removal. After the pulp is removed, the tooth is cleaned and disinfected, then filled and sealed. Depending on the decay of the tooth, we’ll install a filling or a crown for added protection.
Extractions
If a tooth can’t be saved by a filling or crown, extraction is the last resort. A tooth that has been badly damaged or broken will require removal from its socket in the bone. Wisdom teeth (3rd Molars) are often extracted when there’s little to no room in your mouth for them to erupt. If left in, they can cause pain and discomfort.
Dentures & Partials
If you’re missing most of your teeth, we offer a restoration option in dentures and partials. For those who still have some of their teeth, partials could be the better choice. Both full and partial dentures are designed to look like your natural teeth and our doctors will work with you to identify which restoration option best fits your specific oral health needs.
